How to triple your fat burning results with weight training

How would you like to multiply the results you get from your fat burning workout?  In half the time or less? Of course you would. Once you finish reading this article you will be armed with the knowledge to do just that.
The number one form of exercise for fat loss is high intensity weight training. Nothing else can create a faster resting metabolism or require more stored energy also known as fat than building some muscle. This applies to men and women and whether someone is young or old. This program also works without any long slow go boring cardio workouts.

There are many things you can do to lose more fat. First of all if you concentrate on performing each and every repetition you could literally triple its effectiveness. Take the seated dumbbell curl exercise for example you start with the weight down at your side. Your first strength level is when you slowly start to curl the weight up to your shoulders this is known as the positive phase of the movement. Your second strength level is when you pause briefly and squeeze your biceps at the top of the movement. This is known as your static strength level. Your third strength level is when you lower the dumbbells slowly and is known as the negative phase of the movement.

The main problem is most people just don’t bother with the positive, static or negative phases. They are mainly interested in just lifting weights and not pausing at the top and lowering the weight slowly. By training this way people are only getting one third of the fat blasting benefits from exercise.

Strength is very important for a number reasons. Strength leads to muscle growth which leads to a faster resting metabolism which leads to faster fat loss because it takes more energy for your body to keep the muscle and muscle is metabolically active.

So the best way to train is by taking 3-4 seconds on both the positive portion and negative portion of the exercise.  It is also recommended to squeeze for one second in the contracted position.
